3ª Open doors day for the international market 21/11/2013

Last 23rd, 24th and 25th October took place at the Thomil Profesional Training Center the third Open Doors Day for international markets.

In these days, more than ten companies from the sector arriving from different countries participated: France, Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Guinea. During these three days, participants had the opportunity to better understand the Thomil brand, its products and manufacturing processes.

The event began with a guided visit through the various facilities of the factory, where they could see first-hand all the inner workings involved in the manufacture of the Thomil chemicals, starting by its inception, storage and reception of raw materials and ending by the launching of the products into the market.

Then, after a lunch with the participants, Thomil made a brief look at its extensive portfolio of products, focusing on the most representative ones. The effectiveness of the results was clearly proven with cleaning demonstrations.

The next day, in order to provide an overview of the Spanish market in our sector, Thomil, along with the Residential Care Center “Decanos”, organized a visit to their nursing home in Ávila, where assistants could see the use and application systems of cleaning products in the different areas of the nursing home: laundry, kitchen, bedrooms and common areas. During the visit we were accompanied by Jaime Rodriguez, manager of the company QUIMICEL, Ana Maria Rodriguez, Director of the Senior Care Center, and Maria Jesus del Pozo Sánchez, the housekeeping, who had the courtesy to invite the group to a typical chocolate with churros.

Then, after a nice lunch, one of the Thomil’s distributors in Madrid outlined his vision of market valuing the positive aspects of working with a quality-oriented brand.

The Open Doors Day ended with a round table discussion where different priority issues for the invited guests were treated.
